Inspiration

July 27 2014,
Truly, the Holy Bible is our road-map to Salvation, Eternity !  But friends, I tell you it is So much more.
For can it not be said that the Holy Bible is our road-map to human happiness,....though the time span mere by comparison to eternity?  During life's most challenging or darkest hours, can't we find ' Inspiration '  for every of these events within the pages of the Bible ?......................I think we all know the answer, if we look at it from the perspective of a ' true ' Christian.

But, beyond the very most wondrous words found within the pages of Holy Scripture, the Lord has blessed us with INSPIRATION derived from one another in our daily lives and from all forms and walks of life.
Many of these " Nuggets " of information can lend themselves to inspirational value during many of life's difficult OR joyous times.

From scriptural verse, to poetic prowess, to  motto's , to quotes from humanities leaders, we hope that you may find even the smallest of INSPIRATIONS, and pass them on.............................................

God Cares for Me

The way I may not
always see.
But this I know;
God cares for me.

It matters not
what seems to be,
Since this is true;
God cares for me.

Though tempests rage
on land and sea,
I'm safe because God cares for me.

From doubt and fear
He keeps me free.
My surety this;
God Cares for me.

Transgression and Sin !
( What A Forgiving God We Have !,  the following are writings from The Devotional of Abraham Lincoln.............A Christian of very passionate conviction )

( I gave my Son a hard copy from the late 1800's a couple of years ago. I pray that he comes to know the Grace and Mercy of God through it ! )

         " God of my life, how good how wise
                        thy judgements to my soul have been
                          they were but blessings in disguise,
                           the painful remedies of sin.

          How different now the way appears,
             Most merciful when most severe ! "

                                                   President, Abraham lincoln

My past transgressions pain me;
Lord, cleanse my heart within;
and evermore restrain me
from all presumptuous sin.

So let my whole behavior,
thoughts, words, and actions be,
On God, my strength and Saviour,
acceptable to the.

The Old Violin
The Touch of the Masters Hand
'Twas battered and scarred,
And the auctioneer thought it
hardly worth his while
To waste his time on the old violin,
but he held it up with a smile.
"What am I bid, good people", he cried,
"Who starts the bidding for me?"
"One dollar, one dollar, Do I hear two?"
"Two dollars, who makes it three?"
"Three dollars once, three dollars twice, going for three,"
But, No,
From the room far back a gray bearded man
Came forward and picked up the bow,
Then wiping the dust from the old violin
And tightening up the strings,
He played a melody, pure and sweet
As sweet as the angel sings.
The music ceased and the auctioneer
With a voice that was quiet and low,
Said "What now am I bid for this old violin?"
As he held it aloft with its' bow.
"One thousand, one thousand, Do I hear two?"
"Two thousand, Who makes it three?"
"Three thousand once, three thousand twice,
Going and gone", said he.
The audience cheered,
But some of them cried,
"We just don't understand."
"What changed its' worth?"
Swift came the reply.
"The Touch of the Masters Hand."
"And many a man with life out of tune
All battered and bruised with hardship
Is auctioned cheap to a thoughtless crowd
Much like that old violin
A mess of pottage, a glass of wine,
A game and he travels on.
He is going once, he is going twice,
He is going and almost gone.
But the Master comes,
And the foolish crowd never can quite understand,
The worth of a soul and the change that is wrought
By the Touch of the Masters' Hand.

  1. I know that I am one whom the Master has touched with His hand and made clean through His sacrifice and Loved me enough to save me from the fire. Not just saved FROM but saved TO. He has put new strings on this instrument, tuned them through difficult circumstances and taught them how to ring true and be His voice.
